Since my mac is always in the state of "almost-dying" or "comatose" :P
I change my workplace to CICT - Center of Information and Computer Technology . .basically it is a computer lab :P
I move to the level 3, which is an open lab for student to acces. However, I made one of iMac there to be my personal iMac . . whuahahahahah *evil laugh
Back to the case, I spend most of my time here in this lab to do my projects, assignments, sometimes just surfing the net a.k.a reading manga or facebooking *i wonder wether other people also open facebook in their free time
Today is different, I have full determination to understand WEKA, doing some analysis on my previous project in data mining, just to test how it will be if I change some parameters here and there . . . which lead me to an . . . . error message . . *huh =.=
Indulging myself with the excitement of finding the error, I heard noisy voices. There were several visitors from other university or college, I am not sure, who visited this lab, based on my observation they were private college or diploma students. The head of this lab, Mrs XXX, gave a bit explanation and guide the visitors around and showed the achievement that this lab ever had or the services that they provide to the student. I don't care about that until that Mrs XXX stand up in front of my computer and start the tour to the iMac section. - The lab was divided into 2 primary section. East wing for windows based computer and most of the student will go there and west wing is a place for the iMac, some worker or researcher or me, technician and most of the time only being use when the staff need some IT education or workshop
So she stood in front of me and started to explain that CICT have iMac, this and that and bla bla bla . . . then the crowd followed her. She just suddenly including me inside her tour, saying that student can use mac to do this and that and asked my what did I do. Thanks god I didn't open my facebook or my usual online manga site. Thanks god I was busy opening several .arff file and WEKA explorer and visualizer here and there :D
Then the visitor started to ask this and that, what did I do, how to do it, what is that . . . urghhhh . . . .
If only I was opening facebook, I couldn't stand if i caught up just using iMac for facebooking :D

I think the Mrs XXX owe me some special privilege now :P
I help her to promote the lab and at least let outsider see that the iMac is not only for decoration, since most of the time I am the only one who will use it :P *excluding faye, because she started to use it only within these 2 weeks :D
So I really hope next time I meet Mrs XXX, I can bring along my bag inside the lab and the staff will be a little bit more cheerful and friendly to me :P
